Live Art / Live Artfully
LALA Festival (lalafestival.com), which stands for 'Live Art / Live Artfully’, is presenting three days of challenging new work and public discussions with 20 local and national award-winning artists who identify as women, people of color, or LGBTQ.
LALA Festival will give local Twin Cities artists and audiences an opportunity to hold critical conversations as well as an opportunity to engage in a national dialog with artists from around the country.
In addition to presenting new work, the festival organizers are hosting four public discussions that they hope will help artists and audiences alike develop deeper skills in critical feedback, creating and appreciating new work, working with live audiences, and approaching the realities of modern life in more artful ways.
