The Love Party: REVIVAL
June 1 - 4
Ten years ago at Red Eye The Love Party began as a nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial fellowship of people working with a group of principles that enable them to better relate to themselves, change, and the world. There's no time like the apocalyptic present for a REVIVAL with karaoke, glitter, partial nudity, and live animals.
*Join the Love Party. All are welcome.*
Chantal Pavageaux is an artist working in performance, glitter, games, science and speculative fictions whose immersive projects include The TACT Force (Bryant Lake Bowl), Relics (Guthrie), The Game Show (NY/Live Arts), GAME NIGHT (Ars Nova), and The Dinner Party (Dixon Place). She was a Drama League Directing Fellow, and is the artistic director of the in[heir]itance project, a national theatre company that devises plays with/in communities. She is currently developing LALA Fest, a live arts festival happening in Minneapolis, July 2017.
Support for New Works 4 Weeks is provided by IBM, Jerome Foundation, Kaemmer Fund of HRK Foundation, The McKnight Foundation, Target, and by the voters of Minnesota through grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
