In this new performance work, the //CATHEDRAL\\ collective transverses ritual, theater, ceremony, and dance to create a Sacred Space to house the great mystery named Imagination. Peering at the occult through a magnifying glass of post-modern dance and some lo-fi original pop music, woo asks: What does it means to be both fully human and fully divine? How can dance transform and awaken the Universe Power in our bodies?

//CATHEDRAL\\ is a creation collective composed of Dolo McComb, Kimberly Lesik and Scott Stafford. The ensemble first performed together under Dolo’s direction as part of Red Eye’s Works-in-Progress program in May 2015.

Dolo McComb is an artist and healer originally from Colorado Springs. After earning a degree in dance from the Colorado College, Dolo relocated to Minneapolis where she practices bodywork and creation. Since being in Mpls, she has worked and toured nationally with BodyCartography Project and choreographer Chris Schlicting. Her choreographic work has been shown in Minneapolis at Bryant-Lake Bowl, Zenon Zone, the Island, Red Eye, and the Walker Art Center Choreographers’ Evening . Currently, along with Kimberly Lesik and Scott Stafford, Dolo is creating as part of a collective called //cathedral\\.
